Protect your hair when you exercise

You can do sports with a weavingor a lace wig. To preserve all the beauty of your hair, here are some tips, however.

Adopt the right hairstyle

Did you know that perspiration contains salt which can gradually dry out the hair? To protect your mane, the ideal is to opt for a protective hairstyle like a ponytail, a bun or a braid. To avoid breakage, use rubber bands covered with fabric (not rubber). You can also wear a sports headband, very practical for lifting your hair and absorbing perspiration. Match it with your outfit for a very trendy retro look.

Tip:  Wash your headband regularly to prevent bacteria from accumulating there.

Pamper your mane

Once your sports session is over, the ideal is to wash your hair with a sulfate-free shampoo. If you do sports regularly, however, avoid washing your hair every day (this may make them grease) and simply rinse your lengths between each wash. Also remember to detach and brush your hair once it is dry. Caution: never brush a wet or damp wig.

Apply a moisturizing mask about once a week: this will hydrate and nourish your hair deeply. If you have an oily scalp or fragile hair you can also turn to white clay, perfect for restoring tone and shine to your mane without irritating it. Tip:  Avoid dry shampoo that freezes perspiration in the hair.
