Light, trendy and undetectable, lace wig is the queen of wigs. Find out how to put it down.
Prepare your hair
Before putting on your wig it is important to flatten your hair. You can do this for mats or use a wig cap. For a more natural look, remember to leave two locks free at the front of your head: these will be used to hide the edges of your lace wig. Apply wig glue Clean your skin with a cotton pad soaked in antiseptic solution in order to remove impurities (this will allow the glue to adhere better). Then apply a little moisturizer around your scalp to protect it from possible irritation. You can now apply the wig glue around your scalp using a small makeup brush. Please note that there are different types of glue: choose one suitable for your skin type (oily, dry, sensitive, etc.) Let it dry for a few minutes.
Put your wig on
Take your wig out of its packaging and shake it lightly to give it volume. Then put it on your head and adjust it so that the lace is superimposed on the glue. This step can take a bit of practice, so don't hesitate to take your time. Once the wig is in place use a fine comb to compress the edges down. Make sure the lace is flattened (to give a natural effect) and let it dry for about fifteen minutes. Apply a little serum on the locks you had left free and flatten them backwards to mix them with your wig.
Tip: Apply a little liquid foundation on the line of the wig to complete the illusion.
